The antibacterial and deodorant finishing agent GS900 is a key product recommended by the national textile antibacterial technology research and development center. It can be used to produce sheets, underwear, towels, socks, carpets, non-woven fabrics, shoe fabrics, decorative cloth, air filtration materials, etc.

The active groups on the antibacterial and deodorant finishing agent GS900 can form covalent bonds with -OH and -NH- on the fiber, and integrate with the fiber. So that the fabric after antibacterial treatment has excellent washing resistance. A variety of antibacterial groups carried by GS900 act on the cell membrane of bacteria, resulting in cell membrane defects, increased permeability, leakage of cytosolic substances in cells, and can also hinder the synthesis of bacterial proteins, causing the depletion of bacterial core protein bodies, leading to bacterial death. The antibacterial group GS900 also selectively acts on ergosterol of fungal cell membrane, which changes the permeability of cell membrane, leads to the loss of important substances in the cell, and causes fungal death.
Instructions
The antibacterial and deodorant finishing agent GS900 is used to treat fabrics by means of padding, dipping, spraying, coating and brushing. The dosage of GS900 is 1-5% o.w.f (per 100kg dry fabric can adsorb 1 kg to 5 kg GS900), and usually the dosage is 2-3% o.w.f, the specific dosage is determined according to the variety and use of the treated fabric.

Impregnation process:

1. Preparation of finishing fluid:

First, add water to the impregnating tank (bath ratio: 1:10), then add GS900 (5% o.w.f.), stir, and finally add softener (export product: GS900 dosage halved).


Padding process:

1. Technological process:

Fabric → bleaching and dyeing → drying → padding antibacterial solution (mangle expression 70% - 80%) → drying (80-110ºC, 4-6min) → stretching 150-155 ºC, 40-30s (or 120-130 ºC, 4-6min)

3. Preparation of finishing fluid:(taking the preparation of 100 liters of solution as an example)
First, add about 80 liters of water into the chemical barrel, then add GS900 5kg (add a right amount of softness agent), and finally add 100 liters of water, and mix well.

Note:
1. Domestic brand products should not only meet the standard requirements in the antibacterial effect test, but also make the consumers feel that they have antibacterial, deodorant, anti-mildew and antipruritic effects during the use of antibacterial textiles. Therefore, it is recommended to use the formula (1).
2. Products exported to the United States, Japan, Europe, and Australia are required to meet foreign standards when testing antibacterial effects, and formula (2) can meet their requirements.
3. If the fabric needs to be softly finished, it can be carried out in the same bath as the antibacterial finishing.
4. GS900 is also suitable for antibacterial and deodorant finishing of silk, wool, nylon and acrylic fabrics. The padding process is usually used, and an impregnation process (amount of 5% o.w.f., bath ratio 1:10, 90-95ºC, 30-40 min) may also be used.
5. It is recommended to use deionized pure water, if hard water is used, the solution becomes cloudy or even precipitates.
When the pH value of  aqueous solution or fabric is> 7, please add 5-10g / L of citric acid to the water in the chemical tank, and then add GS900 antibacterial agent, and stir well.
